wiww
I'm reaching into the archives and digging out that dusty old prompt known as
WIWW, or "What I Wore Wednesday."
When I taught kindergarten I was really good about doing WIWW posts, probably because I regularly put effort into cute outfits and matching jewelry. Nowadays I'm not as put together, especially in the winter when the weather is frigid and we go for days on end without taking a step outdoors. I decided it was time to jump back on the WIWW train and coordinate my outfits, everyday, regardless of whether I'm leaving the house or not.
You won't find me wearing trendy jewelry or cute dresses on a daily basis. I'm a stay-at-home mom to a toddler boy; I need it to be practical and comfortable. However! I do have a great little closet full of fun clothes that doesn't get used nearly enough. Don't get me wrong; I'm not one to stay in my pjs all day. However, I do find myself wearing the same pair of worn out jeans and the same old cardigan way too often.
So I'm jumping back on the WIWW train. It's not about showing off your body or a contest of who has the cutest closet. Instead it's about accountability, about getting out of a bad rut of not putting enough effort into yourself. Who's with me?

linking up

Oh, I love the Lands End cardigan! And I think I have those same Target jeans (from your Tuesday outfit). I don't really do a lot of link-ups but I kind love this one, and as you know from Instagram, I like to post my outfits, not only for my own documentation to remember a time when I had a little style (hahaha!) but to give other people some inspiration, I love seeing other's outfits and combinations I would have never thought to put together but end up looking really cute. I think I will join up!
Love the orange cardigan and scarf!

your outside in the sun pics look like mine ... I turn my head and look off in the distance, haha.
LOVE your sunday outfit.
I love the photo with the sun in your eyes...I definately did that last week!
I'm totally with you on getting dressed for the accountability purposes. Some SAHM's say "meh" to getting dressed and others get dressed. I'm all for a day where I can hang out in my pjs, but getting dressed just makes me feel better. Anyways, I'm with you!

I read a post back in the Fall from another blogger about choosing to care about how you look as a SAHM. It challenged me a lot. However, I'm in my workout clothes and it's 2:30. Anyhooooo... Great outfits! If I had instagram (like for real instagram, not just on my ipad) I would do this with you. And PS, since when does Land's End have cool clothes?!?
I am not even a mom yet and there are days I'd much rather throw on yoga pants a tank and get to work...even if I do love styling most of the time. We all need those days, so good for you for wanting to document it :-)
